    Default niteparts 4a-w58 bellhousing w55 fork's

    hey !.

    got a niteparts bellhousing on the way, and was wondering what w55 clutch fork/bearing carrier i can use, as there is heaps !

    i was told there is only 2 different lengths and can use either with spacing the slave.

    i was looking at part numbers and through the w55 range, there is so many different part numbers for the fork.

    if i say order a hilux w55 or celica w55 fork/pivot and carrier, will i be fine with that ? or is there specifics ?

    cheers.

    woe woe woe one at time.

    so ordered a 31204-20071 fork, i think its from a hiace. and a 31236-30060 pivot ball to start off with.
    now i need a release bearing and hub, im hoping the one in my dellows housing is a w58 one that i can use.

    anyone know if this fork is very interchange able with w5* box's from pivot to slave is 125mm.

    thanx for the reply.

    i spoke the manufacturer and he said this fork should be fine, i will just need a 10mm spacer under the slave. as there is two different size w5 series forks and either can be used.
    i did ask, what car/pickup i could order the fork from, he didnt know. which was surprising.

    just for testing purpose's ive used washers, ill machine up some 8mm spacers and get some decent bolts.

    but with the fork/pivot i used, all seems to line up.

    hey !
    yeh it all worked out and drove fine.
    id rather the shorter fork so the slave isnt spaced out, not that it matters as it works fine. i just dont like spacing things when there is the right thing out there haha. hopefully one day we find out the P/N of that fork.

    very surprising. assuming you were talking to Brendan? these fit the original 4age fork also which can be ordered for hmmm... an ae86.
    There are two offsets of bearing carrier and 3 lengths of fork for the W5# alloy supra boxes. you have the longest type fork identified by the kink in the long end.
    The slave needs to be the R/H (driver side in AUS) version with mounts pointing down and the bleed nipple pointing upwards. (also from AE86).

    w55 style forks can be found on the following...
    notched = M, K (km36 G52), K A & T (only from 22spline T50), (shortest type) approx 113mm pivot to clutch slave
    straight = T (3tgte), G, C (ce71), (middle type) approx 118mm pivot to slave
    bent = R, S, C (cr30 G52), (longest type) approx 125mm pivot to slave.

    20spline T50 have a different fork so im guessing it's safer to say only use a W55 fork.

    Dig.....
    So I too am about to go down this path.
    I have Niteparts bellhousing, and W55 box.
    Box was purchased with no bellhousing, so I don't have clutch fork or pivot.
    I would prefer to not have to space the slave to suit 31204-20071 fork, as its for an AE71 with limited room.
    Does anyone know of the part number for shorter fork?
    Any help here would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

    I want the W/G series gearbox shortest fork, so I went on toyodiy to try and find the notched fork ~113mm.
    I looked up KM36, found
    08/1988-03/1998 TOYOTA LITEACE KM3*,YM3*,4*,CM36
    listing part number
    31204-35050 FORK SUB-ASSY, CLUTCH RELEASE
    This part number also appears on numerous other vehicles from older supra JA70, MA70 to 2009- PRADO.
    31232-35020 CLIP, RELEASE BEARING HUB
    31236-30060 SUPPORT, RELEASE FORK (BALL)

    I'm new to ToyoDIY, can someone please correct me if i'm wrong.
    Thanks.
