    Default progressive power steering

Ok so have a jza80 supra thats had an aristo 2jzgte put into it by someone

wondering where the aristos pps solenoid wiring would normally run through? does it run through the engine loom or the aristo body loom?

if it was in the aristo body loom im going to assume ill need to check for the PPS computer under the dash and see what wiring if any is available.

does anyone have a Pinout for the PPS computers plug

im going to assume it should be relatively simple and get the following information

    speed sensor input
    power
    ground
    pps solenoid +
    pps solenoid -

    Cheers

wilbo666 has lots of supra and aristo 2jzgte info
However that's more related to engine and trans than to some other stuff, but at least you may ask him

Engine conversion is when you drive a shitbox which costs a whole LEXUS to own

JZA80 PPS is on the engine loom. I'm pretty sure that JZS147 is on the body loom.

On JZA80 the two pins from the PPS ECU to the PPS solenoid on the rack are on pins 4 and 14 of plug 90980-11555 Engine Loom to Body Loom Plug (Orange).

SOL+ (Pin 4) goes to pin 1 of the PPS solenoid plug that is on the rack, SOL- (Pin 14) to pin 2.

All you need to do is wire up from the orange plug on the engine loom to the plug on the solenoid on the power steering rack (nothing else should have been done to effect the PPS ECU in the engine conversion if it was done properly...).

When u wire in an aristo engine into a supra u need to add the pps wire and afew others
I've done afew but people won't spend mooney to do it right
So others have done it but afew things don't work

    Pps ecu has five wires
    Ign
    Gnd
    Speed in

    And the two solenoid wires

If your speedo works then pps ecu should be getting speed sig
So u should just have to run the two solenoid wires to the rack drivers side down low

yeah after seeing the diagram in the link I put in above i realised it would all still be in the car and connected up...

sure enough the pps ecu was there and plugged in so stole the pps plug and wires from an old loom plugged it in and soldered it back to the cut wires from the orange plug

    worked fine...
