To fit the 16" rims on the front, I am using 15mm spacers... I like my bearings intact, as well as a lack of yellow stickers on my windscreen so I want to steer away from them, hence the conversion.
I want to use 17" rims, and definitely can't go smaller than 16".
As mentioned above, I am using Celica rotors, which have been redrilled to 4x100, so the will also fit 5x100 using the original holes.

I have takled to the fitter at work, and he is cool to do the machining work on whatever hubs I end up using, so I'll have a look at 5x100 rim availability and hopefully it will be a relatively easy conversion.

    Hello
I think you are making this a terribly difficult job. There are plenty of wheels in 4x100 pattern. How often do you want to change your wheels anyway?

Not often, but the choice is limited, even moreso when you need a sub +35 offset in 17"

My 16" Rota circuit 10s fitted at 35ET. If you can get a 16" in 35ET I think it should clear your brakes.

My 16" rims are +38 so they are close, but no cigar. I've seen too many horror stories to even consider Rota..... I prefer to buy the genuine items.

Once these storms ease up I'll look more into the conversion.

I've been using Rota for years now. i think its really only the slip streams that are weak cos they are SUPER light and are a copy of the Regemaster. Thats the only ones i've seen break. I woulndt even use a genuine regemaster on the track, there just isnt enough meat on them.

I even had a big rock go through the inside of my rim and jam between the spoke and caliper, locked my wheel for a split second then flung back out. Rim was still mint.

How does Sub +35 offset fit in with track / offset legalities?

    Cheers

Dunno, I'll have to check, but it's harder for Mr Constable Sir to spot the offset mark on the rim than a spacer.
I don't recall seeing any requirements for offset in QLD apart for the tyre and rim sitting inside the guards, is there a rule for that?

+12.5mm increase in offset is standard around the country.

Stock is about +38 on the AE101 Corolla IIRC.

that list is wrong.. pulsars are 114.3.. i know because i have a set on my ke25 (ke55 diff)
which begs the question.. which others on that list are also wrong?

im a massive fwd corolla noob, so please disregard if its a stupid question..

what will you do bout driveshafts? are the splines and diameters the same between corolla and camry hubs?

I thought the pulsars went to 114.3 with the N16, N15 and prior are definately 4x100 as we put a set of N15 rims on an AE92 once.
