Default 2 type of 2t piston rings?

Hi, i have a ta23 with the obvious 2t engine i want to freshen up with rings and bearings. I called a couple of suppliers and they all said the bearings were no dramas but there are two types of piston rings for the 2t to chose from they say the ring thickness varies does anybody know what the deal is here?

    Regards,
    Matt

Only way to be sure is to pull it out and measure it.
