Its which port the usb is plugged into.
Device management is one way to find out which port.

i just got one going with mine

go to my computer properties, then hardware, then device manager. look for what com port it's using. go into halwin program setup and choose that port.

ecko are you still using the standard 7M coils? can you tell me the dwell time and charge time under ignition setup, if you can connect to the ecu?

    thanks mate

For the ignition map, yes, but not the fuel map.
The values mean pretty much nothing between different brands (and even types) of ECUs.

You need a proper Haltech base map.
Sorry for being a bit off topic, but this seems strange to me. I would assume that ECUs would express the fuel map as either ms opening time or % injector duty cycle for each rpm/throttle/MAP point. So provided you know the injector size and fuel pressure you should be able to calculate the fuel map.
As this is not the case, how do they record it? And, if anyone knows, how does it vary between different brands?

Currently installing my Haltech E11v2 into my 7M supra.

Does anyone have any maps for the 7M to suit any ecu (I'll download software and copy the values) so I can just get the car running.

    My setup:

    Sequential Injection
    Standard Coils, Wasted Spark
    Standard CAS/CPS (24+1 multitooth)

    550cc injectors
    CT26E highflowed
    16psi

So if anyone has anything I can cross reference the setup with and use the fuel and ignition as a rough base map so i can get it running, it'd be great!

Email me any maps at [email protected]

    Thanks!
    Ryley
My setup is nearly identical and running a Microtech, I've got the values in a spreadsheet on my work laptop.
Flick me an email there and ill reply when I get back to the office, [email protected]
You don't have a 5ME sump by chance do you?
