So apart from wreckers or ebay, where are people sourcing the 3UZ CoP units?

I figure I may aswell do CoP when I go adaptronic.

I assume this is for your 3S-GTE?

I use 1NZ-FE (Toyota Echo) COPs on my 3S-GTE and they are perfect.

I've sourced some from here for the 3sgte - the 1nz ones are what I have used - I think I got that info from one of your posts? Cheers mate.

This is for my 1uz Cressida

I sell coil-pack connector kits for $5 each with the housing, seals and connectors- although they are not genuine.

Of note I took a faulty coil apart and the plastic outside does not provide an insulation at all, that is taken care of inside the melal housing under the plastic, go grind away as you please.

Currently designing a plate setup to mount 8 LS coils on 1UZ's for people with aftermarket ecus. Had trouble with turbo 1UZ tonner with std coils and leads so went down that path to sort it out. Plates should be cheap and LS coils are $200 a set these days.

Will an Autronic CDI500R unit control the LS coils Al?

I have both but the current plan was to use a set of Honda CDI CoP I have. Buggers don't fit without some stuffing around and still some question how much boost they will spark...especially with E85.

As far as I have heard the LS coils will take whatever boost is thrown at them with no miss issues

By ls coils does he mean Holden ls1
They have internal ignitor so u cant run a cdi and u dont need external ignitor
Just run ecu ignition triggers directly coils

I just wired up a wolf 550 into a supercharged 1uz and we ran 8 ford ba bf 6cyl coils
    With an m&w ignitor
Fit ok just the top plastic part is abit tall so u have to make special brackets to hold em in
But think we were pushing for over 600 hp

SM2 won't run the LS igniters by all accounts.
