Ok, I'm embarrassed. I can't get the damn window out. I ended up unscrewing everything but nothing is moving and it's all just dropped to the bottom. Any ideas apart from stopping now and putting it all back together!
    Thanks.

The window needs to go on the outside of the car to come out as you pull it up. It should preferably be detached from anything. Also, pulling out your outer seal and chrome strip will help, just watch out for paint damage.

Anybody ever converted to a fixed window? I'm not going to have rear seats, so windows that wind up and down seem a bit pointless to me.
I've been told just to weld the rolling mechanism in place when the window is fully up, but I figure there's a neater and more reversible approach to it?

Piece of piss. I did mine last weekend. once all the trim is removed etc all you do is unbolt the glass from the regulator and remove the upper stop and then take out the whole glass. Drill or grind out stock bit and fit roller bushing. Pays to replace the 4 plastic bits at the same time as the window is out.

Hi. Does anyone have a pic of the internal setup of the rear windows for the ta22/ta23?
    Thanks

My whole cars pulled to pieces at the moment, so I'll take one this afternoon for you.

Hey. I have pulled out the front window regulator but I am stumped as to why the rollers (new plastic ones and the Rolltrak ones) don't fit. Am I on the wrong track? The car is a 76' TA23. Cheers.

I'd say the TA23 doors are the same as 22 one's.

The RA23 has side impact bars,so maybe they changed the window tracks at the same.

The spline is different and the window handles won't swap over.

Just swap the rollers you have for 20mm one's and you will be fine.

One a side not MX23 rear windows have the same 25mm roller works like a treat
