    Im confused as to what engine is inside this little celica?

    +1 for 3SFE

    Gen I 3SGE has seperate intake/exhaust cam covers, plus they're AFM.

    The guy selling it is adamant its a twincam. Im awaiting more pictures. Im interested in buying it for hillclimb + learning to drive in anger so I dont total the celica at my first outing.

    Basically this would be what the corona should of been (rona turned out too nice to put the 6 speed into and go "racing")

    I thought they were narrow angle twin cam with a single cam pulley!!

    Good car to start with nice balance and cheap to replace.

    Chuck a 3SGE in and get some quad throttle's and it would be fantastic.

    If you do any events that require a Nav give me a yell I've been wanting to give it a go for ages.

    Technically it is a twincam, since it has the F head. However it's the narrow angle economy twincam head (where the second camshaft is driven off the first by a gear)
