s13 stuff must be do-able........?
best mod for the corona would be wheels for sure
problem is finding ms65 parts here in tassie
yep s13 is defantly do-able...
and less work than hilux brake conversion
Prob even harder than finding MA61 rims in TAS in good condition!
btw.... MA61 rims would look great on a rona
wat sorta mods are you looking to do? its endless wat you can do to them...
Don't know about the tie rods but you asked for anything about ST141 Corona's?
My ST141 had the 2.0L 2SC (with carby) engine in it.
If fitting extractors and sports exhaust system for these engines,
you must remove the air pump belt otherwise sometimes it will cause a VERY LOUD
backfire every time you back off the accelerator (while changing gears or engine braking).
The air pump was there for emissions standards, it did not affect my engine at all when it was removed and got rid of the annoying backfires.
Cheers,
raffy
a 2s will run fine will no emission system at all... only need the vac line from the carbi to the dizzy and your larfen
hmm i deff need to remove my air pump..
im wanting to do something with the suspesion but keep it dailyable..
would like to do 5 stud conversion and lsd.. with out a weldy..
it also hideous on fuel and would like to change that
chop springs or wana spend a bit and keep it legal can buy lowed king springs for it... you wont find lsd anywhere to fit the stock diff.... mine was good on fuel and that was 4speed...
how bout slotting in a 22re? prob pick up a crossmember from a RT142 and bolt it in. extra torque from 2.4 woul help with fuel economy
yeah a local guy has offered a1gge so im thinking of doing that..
i reckon ill use s13 standard struts and springs etc
This is a deceptively hard conversion.Originally Posted by CELICASUPRA7M
You pretty much need a complete RT142 to transplant EVERYTHING from.
Crossmember / Brake master / Brake lines (from the firewall forward) / Fuel lines / fuel tank / loom / ECM etc....
Plus all the big things like the motor / gearbox / tailshaft etc.
The 18R-G. The GOOD 2 Litre Tractor motor.
