    Suspension for daily driver?
I had pedders lowered springs and monroe gt-gas in mine.
The parts were cheap, suspension had a good ride, was not too low
    and didn't draw cops attention.
ST141's look cool when lowered especially with 15" to 17" alloys and also because they've got sort of a little flare on the guards.

    cheers,
    raffy

    That's why it's deceptively hard

    No need to be sorry.

15" wheels with 0 or low negative offset suit these cars to a tee.

s14 4 piston brakes bolt up directly to the strut, you just need a spacer to correct the disc offset.

    st141 strut, s14 calipers, s14 discs

^^^^ I agree. 15" wheels are much better. It just wouldn't look right fitting wheels that are too big and not proportional to the size of the brake assembly.

I'd love to own a Corona again, but maybe start with a Avante instead of the CSX.

    cheers,

that example is on my own car.....(ae86)

it has st141 hubs. s14 is five stud, so obviously its not s14 hubs, you can also see from that pic that the disc has been redrilled to 4x114.3. if they were s14 hubs then there would be no need to redrill and there would be an extra stud there.

the disc is simply a full floating style arrangement, it just slides on like many conventional brake setups.

the only thing not shown in the pic is the hub centric ring to ensure the disc sits correctly on the hub.

first, you need to do something bout your grammar, i can hardly understand that....

its the DISC that bolts to the HUB on a conventional st141 setup. it bolts BEHIND the hub.
    - all you do is remove the hub and disc from the stub axle, unbolt the disc from the hub.
    - refit the hub to the stub axle
    - slide the s14 disc that has been redrilled onto the hub.
    - fit the caliper

i used an r32 non abs master cylinder on my setup, but im not sure if st141 brake booster has the same stud pattern

For a cheap/basic upgrade RA60/SA63/RA65 Celica discs & calipers bolt straight on. I did this upgrade for $30 on my 1GGTE ST141 and you don't need to do anything custom - even the factory ST141 brake lines fit right up.

Sorry to be critical but the S14 conversion has been described as "bolt on" but given that the disc has to be redrilled, you need a spacer to correct the offset, and you need a spacer ring to make the disc fit the hub correctly it's about as hard as a brake conversion gets, save for the fact that the caliper bolts on without needing an adapter.

A lot of people get in trouble starting things and not knowing the full details, this is the perfect example of something that looks simple but can actually be quite expensive/difficult for those without the tools/know-how/access to a machine shop or someone to do it at cheap rates.
Must.... avoid.... urge... to... upgrade... parts I haven't.... used.... yet.....
