Default Smallport head on bigport block(3 Rib)

    Hey peoples,
im just wacking a motor together and turboing it just to see if the car handles it and to get everything ready for the proper rebuilt motor.

just wanted to know apart from the 3rib block being weaker, will i face any problems putting these together.

also i was wondering how the compression ration would change, would it go higher or lower?
Any other info on this would be appreciated too.

    Thanx for your time,
    Adam

Not sure about the comp ratio change.
I have run this setup before. unfortunate i broke pistons skirts left right and centre!!
All i can say is dont run over 10 psi and you should not have a prob.

Any particular reason why you are using a small port head? or is it just what you laying around?

just what i had laying around.....
had one smallport in my garage with spun bearing and i aquired a smallport which had been left in the grass which was fine.
now i have one with spun bearing and one with rust in the bores and a siezed motor..
