Just get what ever is easiest to source, they'll all do the same job. What size hose does a 20V take?

I should have noted too that the one way valve is only necessary on the ISCV if the inlet for it is plumbed into the intake pre turbo. Post turbo it'll be relatively balanced under boost anyway.

that would be great, cant i just use the factory one from the 1g? it was the one plumb into the centre of the manifold from underneath right?

Probably could if it's a two wire type. I'm not familiar with 1G's though so can't say.

its a 4 wire type so uses 3 outputs + a ground IIRC.

spewin, since the holes in my plenum have already been tapped i'll stick with the 7m throttle body

where would be the best place to plumb it, or should i just get my tuner to do it? shouldnt we be going for an iscv thats from a turbo'd car?

Best way to plumb it would be one barb on the manifold, one barb on the inlet pipe pre-throttle. That way boost won't be an issue to the ISCV.

If it's easier to plumb the inlet pre turbo or just to atmosphere (filtered though) then it'll need a one way valve (just use a brake booster line one) between the ISCV and manifold.

It won't matter what car the ISCV is from if its plumber up as above examples.

The falcon ISCV has been popular for years in boosted applications.

does the 20v use a coolant line from which to measure the temp thus need for the motor to actuate or does it use another form of sensor to do this?

The 1g uses a 'Stepper' motor that the Microtech cannot handle.

i was gunna say i thought most toyotas were stepper motor idle control...

I think haltech handles that and thats about it...

Adaptronic handles a stepper fine as well. It uses 4 outputs though which is a pain.

Some Hyundai's have a largish PWM-driven aux air valve that just uses 1 aux output pin on the ECU = they are a copy of a bosch item and looks a little like this:

andi if it's a 3-wire job, you wire it up something like this:

Pic of 2 wire Ford ISCV as promised.

    It uses 14mm barbs.

hrm, the TB ive recieved looks different than that ;-)

Can i assume the only hole into the TB is for the breather hose from the top of the cam covers?

heres a thought, how about running the 1ggeu head instead of the 1ggte?
This would raise compression to 9.5.1 however but since its going to be dyno tuned with an after market computer would this be an issue?
Also would need to machine in an oil feed to the side of head, is it that simple ie just machining in a fitting?
