here is the link to my drawing.
all measurements in mm
machining for the tapped caliper holes is 12.55mm deep into the bracket (nearly exactly half the material thickness of 25mm)
any variation of this will be taken up by the caliper piston so it isnt vital to get the last half a millimeter.
feel free to use it as you wish, just remember who's design it was please.

Hi. Can anyone please tell me the internal diameter of a mx83 Cressida hand brake drum? Been searching for ages. Cheers
176mm.....
Now - 1988 GX81 Mark II- 7MGTE, GT35R, TiAL 44m, Microtech, 550cc injectors, R154, Xtreme clutch, LSD.... Low boost tune done = 330rwhp@1 BAR...
Then - 1989 MX83 - The big scrap heap in the sky...
Hope you don't mind the slight necro, but I asked PlacentaJuan about these since the images are dead to me and he's not near a computer for awhile. Here's the measurements and all that you need for you, or a shop if you can't, to make these.
How did these work out for those that got them? So anyone keen to do another run of these? I'd be happy to get a batch done so can get a couple for myself.
The image at top of page that PlacentaJuan posted doesn't work for me. Need the side dimensions for bracket.
Just confirming complete conversion setup:
R33 GTST front and rear calipers (any specific years?)
BA front rotors DBA 504E or equiv
JZX100 rear rotors DBA 746 or equiv
Hub adaptors for front rotors
These brackets
Hoses all mount up?
In all my research everyone said the rear rotors are hard to get. Was this because DBA weren't stocking them at the time or they still don't but list them?
Handbrake works fine as is?
I know the JSX rears and MX hubs are about 2 mill different and an adaptor isn't easy. How about machining the rotor out a bit more for a decent adaptor ring?

I hope you didnt order the DBA listed rear rotors.
They are actually for a Soarer, and do not suit the conversion without getting extra meat on your handbrake shoes.
Herus
racebrakes in north melb, can put extra meat/better compound on your shoes if you end up using your DBA rotors.
I haven't bought anything yet. So those rear rotors will fit but the handbrake shoes don't work? Just get the meatier ones solve that? Also are they about 2mm different in the centre? Or is there a better option?
Ok, digging up an oldish thread.. I think I have a pair of these rear brake adapters (bought second hand) I have r33 rear 2 pots and a new pair of JZX100 rotors (RDA7511) but the internal diameter is too big for the hand brake shoes and also, as said above, the centre hole is ~2mm too big. Is there a better rotor to use or will i need centric rings and custom hand brake shoes?
For what its worth, the front R33 4 pots bolted up and work fine with BA Falcon rotors (RDA504)

As above mate.
They are soarer rear rotors. Not for jzx100 unless you want to get extra meat on your shoes.
As for the centre, I machined out my disks, then used the same hub spacers as the front. Having some issues with them falling out, but haven't got access to the car to fix it at the moment.
You can get the correct rotors here.

Thanks Herus, will look at getting my shoes relined with more meat as they are pretty rooted anyway and I already have those rotors.
