    Default Microtech RPM error

Tried to ring Microtech today, they haven't gotten back to me.

I have a mircotech lt12s which continually throws up an rpm error.

Any idea what it may be?

is it hooked up to the correct cam sensor?

have you called the dealer that sold it to you? they should back up the products they sell.

from playing with many Microtechs i can assure you that rpm errors are pretty common, even when setup correctly and running right, its what they do.

    cheers

Usually poor shielding on the CAS cable.
Or one of the CAS sensors is wired up backwards.

The last lt12s I wired to a 1JZ had the following issues:

*The Microtech diagram was wrong and indicated the incorrect cam sensor to be used.
*The wiring diagram was wrong and indicated the incorrect wires going to the cam and crank sensors.
*The ECU itself was configured incorrectly in terms of the ignition.

Fuk it was fun working all that out when you are constantly being assured to follow the manual etc

Once all that was sorted it ran fine though
