    SLO-,
    VB, VC, VH, VK, 6, 8 Cyl 1978 - 86, VL 6 Cyl 1986 - 88,VN, VG, V6 incl. UTE 1988 - 92
VP V6 (Up to & Incl. Chassis No.L569902) fit the XT130 strut (DBA 015 rotor).

These are 22mm rotor so the caliper you will need is the V6 4runner S13WB, the S12xx range is for a 20mm rotor.

Has any one used the HQ setup?

    SWEET. thanks mate.

Had a feeling early commos might have bolted.fitted up, Just needed confirmation.

I was jut reading TIMTAMS 3tgte ke55 thread and he was running HQ rotors with mazda 4 spotters on a RA60 (or RA40 cant remember) strut. apparantly works wonders.

You can run commy stockys on there although there is 0.6mm difference in PCD.

HQ/HJ/HZ/HX/WB all share the same stud pattern, they're not hard to find at all. I have a sent in the shed

EDIT: What thickness are the HQ style rotors? and How hard is it to find those mazda four spotters?

EDIT #2: Chevy's are also known to use the 5 on 120.6 pcd too

The HQ runs 25.4mm rotor only the RX7 (SP Series 6 4/92 - on) calipers will fit but it runs a 32mm rotor. so the pads may not sits properly when they get low?

Will probably go the Commo hubs with the 4 Runner brakes. Just have to figure out how to get the rear running the same pattern :s

Looking at the info on the calipers in the 2nd post i could use either S12W or S13WB calipers to slip over commy rotors.is that correct? If so are the S12's easier to find?

series 4 calipers are used on TIMTAMS ke, but it has a 3mm spacer between the caliper halves to achieve this, you will need new pad pin made at the same time though.

Hilux calipers are way to heavy and should stay on the 4wds they come from

Some really good information here. Cheers mate!

Though some corrections may be needed. On

    Skyline R33 A:25mm B:112mm C:34mm D:98mm E:80mm 4 Piston

    shouldn't it read

    Skyline R33 A:25mm B:100mm C:34mm D:98mm E:80mm 4 Piston

Every Nissan caliper I have come across is 100mm

Also why use the MS65 hub?

You could go with the earlier ('84-'87) Z31 hub. It has a pcd of 5x114.3 and a center bore of 66.1mm. It is designed to have the disc bolt to the backside as on the MS65. It is thinner than the MS65 hub. So a taller disc could be used.

You could also try a later ('88-'89) Z31 hub. It has a pcd of 5x114.3 and a center bore of 66.1mm. It is designed to have the disc fit over the hub rather than bolt to the backside as on the MS65.

    Thanks will update data

The MS65 Hubs are a direct fit to RA celica & XT corona struts,There is an off the shelf bearing which will fit with seals, the only other hub known to fit is the XA falcon (1971-3)
Not sure if there would be bearing for the Z31 hubs to suit strut (was unable to find bearing catalog)

The Hilux caliper are heavier the alloy units but they carrier a larger piston than most, which gives more clapping force.
Will add weight data for the S12W & S13WB (complete with pads)

hey mate, awesome work looking into all of this.

As u may be aware alot if not all of the discs can be ordered blank ( stud pattern ).

getting the discs with 5 x 120 or 5 x 120.65 for the hq's will require the correct wheels to fit.

99% of all wheels for the 5 x 120 will not fit under a celica with the correct offset. Most are +38 to +43 in 7 inch rim and will NOT under any 70's celica without spacers ( BAD).

Just a word of caution, make sure the wheels u want will fit, and the stud pattern is correct. Willwood also make a calliper that will bolt directly up to the corona strut with DBA 015 and 017 ( only difference between 2 discs is overall diameter). The cost with the wilwoods will be the killer at about $500 a set, but both weigh less than 1 lux calliper.

    Hope this helps, cheer Rosie.

    Rosie,
I saw you have a set of these VB rotor/Hubs looking at them would you be able to re-drill to suit 5 * 114.3 stud patten?
