4age valve & spring specs + mods

I am looking for the valve weights & lengths and spring pressures of 16v 4age engines.

I already know that the inlets are 29.5mm and the exhuast are 25.5mm.

Also do these engine suffer from any sort of valve bounce at 9000 rpm?

when are trd springs a good idea?

do increased spring rates cause more drag (apparently it doesnt)

If you get the Cams done at a reputable place, they'll be able to give you the required spring pressures needed at Installed height and max lift. Then all you'll need to is either shim the stock ones or find some after market ones which match it as closely as possible. You can even have the head milled where the valvespring sits if you need to. The closer you get, the less wear and tear on the valvetrain. Just remember to do coil bind calculations on the springs before purchasing.

Weight wise, someone will have to weigh it for you. Length should be in the Workshop manual....

I already have TRD springs originally intended for a 4age 16v and I also have some 7AFE springs, I wanted to do some comparasins

Or most Cylinder Head shops should be able to do it for a couple beers if they're kind enough.

how interesting, I have since found out what I plan to do will work so unlike my usual aproach of finding out why, how, measuring, comparing, etc I will just chuck them in
