    Default X71 engine conversion

Hrmm yes, im thinking about converting my SX70 (read: 1S-U power X71 Cresta)

It is rear wheel drive auto.

Now, the 1S-U is a 1.9L 4 CYL Carbi motor:
    1S-U
    Year:86
    Bore: 80.5 mm
    Stroke: 89.9 mm
    Compres:9:1
    Capacity:1832 cc
    Power:95 hp@5200 rpm
    Torque:152Nm@3400 rpm

Now, This poor 1S-U has had a blown waterpump and BHG which i have repaired.
The engine is like the Soarer having the 1G , its not right,
The car weighs around 1.5 tonne, and it has a 21 year old engine that makes 95hp.

    Conversion needed ?
    i think so !

now because the Cresta is a SX71 being X71 means that its an SX7 cross member which means the S range of engines *should* fit right ?!

So thinking again this is my daily *cheap* i need something S ?

    What are my options ?
Could i simply install an S engine , or buy an MX73 crossmember and put a 5M or 7M in ?

Only problem i see with installing something like a 3S or 5S is that the East West engine will have to be changed to North South then "hopefully" bolt up to my A304 auto box.

    Opinions People! !

Would a twin turbo 1UZ fit in there?

Would be way cooler than a soarer. And as such, you could sell the soarer to fund it!
