Great info on the banjo fitting as others have said. makes it a nice cheap upgrade. well done!
Cheers
ROB
just thought somebody doing this might like to know, i went down to my local brake shop and ordered a NB pajero master, part number JB1712 and it has a front brake port and a rear brake port, same as the corolla, ae86 ect. so the banjo adapter is not needed. i can post a pic if anyone wants.
by the way top work on the write up, +rep
[removed... sigh]

also another alternative
acv36 02-06 camry non-abs master cylinder
same bolt spacing
15/16" bore size
screw in front and rear ports
integrated reservoir (not remote) with front/rear gravity feeds with a baffle in between
integrated fluid level switch
perfect fit around the strut tower in my ke36
$240 ish RRP
$165 ish at dealer cost
brand new
and genuine toyota
aftermarket would be cheeper
second hand cheeper again
for fcuk_s sake who's buying used master cylinders when new genuine is < 200 dollars ffs
like the guy in the wanted section last week asking for a used clutch slave lol
Thanks for the info people!
Was a great start, but i decided to return the pajero one as it had a huge resivour that was in the way of the inlet and required that stupid banjo bolt.
so...... thinking mitsi......thinking van.......L300 to the rescue.
a. remote mount resivour
b. 15/16
c. bolts up
d. no banjos
but the front and rear lines are in slightly different places.
Attached is pics showing L300 (86- has 15/16 earlier ones have 7/8), the pajero, and standard ke70 (ae86?)

Hi,
Lost my previous post. Another few comments quickly.
Resivour has three outlets. front, rear and clutch, (remote clutch resivour FTW)
Im currently runnning a honda accorder clutch master hacked onto the firewall. But will also investigate the pajero master next time im at the wreckers!
Master cyl pasrt numbers.
The new pajero one pictured is a JB1762, not sure what the difference with the JB1712.
The L300 is JB1557, but does not come with lines or resivour. Was quoted trade of 80 bucks new.
Cheers
