Picked up some of the rear stuff today.

    The caliper adaptor

    and the spacer

    And it installed.

I'll place it all together tomorrow perhaps.

Cheers for those measurements Stew, its much appreciated, especially when it comes to making the caliper brackets for the 86.

Now i must ask, will the rear caliper upgrade work on a T series live axel ? I dont mind the ol' drum brakes but they might look a bit funny with the Z32's up front, will this kit bolt on too ? Fill us in, the hachi boys will be keen im sure!

    No idea.
Never played with a live axle, and currently don't intend on doing so.

I highly doubt it, especially given the relative bearing sizes, and bolt holes.

    Hello everyone!
On the subject of caliper sizes, I was wondering what the general opinion on machining calipers is ??
Yes I know stuffing with these things is probably a dangerous pastime but i have heard of ppl machining the nissan embossing off calipers (just for the look of it).
Machining the badge off the caliper surely wouldn't effect structural strength and would give you around 2 mm (on some calipers) more room making wheel choice easier.
Haven't done it myself, haven't talked to anyone who has and have absolutely no factual info about it at all just thought it might be a usefull idea!!
Anyway thats my 0.5 cents worth.
    cheers Cerby

I've taken NISSAN off many a caliper.
