Yeah I would sell the engine separately, looking for about $5500 for it.

I did get back to you on PM but to be honest you strike me as a time-waster. If you were serious, you would have organised a time to come look at it or at least given me a call.

The head is not bolted on, nor is the sump, so that the valves and rotating assembly can be inspected. The head studs and custom head gasket are there with it.

Starfire, if I am gonna spend my time to meet up with you just to see the engine and talk about price, I would consider that a waste of my time and yours especially if the price was gonna be steep and I walked away. I just was after a simple answer before I wasted either of our time any further. It would be foolish for me not to ask questions about something that could potentially cost me thousands. You would be foolish if you think people will be just come and spend big $$ on something high risk with out asking questions first.

Probably a bit much for my budget but if I want a look I will pm you about, so we don't get 50 more useless opinions...............

I just re-read this thread, and I can't believe that this engine is still sitting there after almost a decade! Jeez, it makes me feel old

I also can't believe how much crap was posted in here. I did end up getting my English car though
