I have managed to find these:

    Translated by Google...

    2TG 2.0Liter

    Bore diameter 88.5φ 89φ
    Pin diameter x pin length 22mm x 60mm
    Pin height 35mm
    Ring B sun/size 1.5mm x 1.5mm x 4.0mm
    Connecting rod/crank type Genuine /3TG
    Compression/head type NA/convex +10mm
    Remark 2.0Liter

63,000 Yen (about $700 inclusive of shipping)

    What do you think?

What comp would you say theyd give?? 700 is quite cheap for 89mm pistons for the 2tg

10.5:1 maybe? my 1750cc ones are some where around there. If you deck the block and head, it might get up higher =)

I met one of guys from the Canberra Celica group that has a 2L 2T-G, he says it drivable, but might need a new o-ring for the upper timing chain tensioner (rag with elastic band fix is quite common these days).

I've seen the head in the flesh, and it looks damn good with the red cover and the brass nuts.

Nice work Terry, those pistons look pretty good, and 10.5:1 would be plenty of comp for a mild street engine.

You get 2L from a 2TG with an 89mm bore and the stroke from a 3T crank. There is plenty of extra metal that can be cut out of a 2T block.
