Default strength of the steel case 5 speed?

does anyone know how tough the steel case box in the ra23 is? ill be using it behind a highish powered 4g63 2litre. I just need to know before i order the bell housing from dellow.
It bolts the narrow block mitsubishi engine straight up. Is the steel case the same pattern as a supra or other box so i can still use the new bell housing if i blow the steel case 5 speed?

if its a dellow i think the biggest problem will be the bolt holes not lining up...

disclaimer: this is all heresay, but ive heard alot of people say...

and if it does all line up. then drive it gently and you'll be right. kick the clutch too much with sticky tyres and you'll be in trouble.
i think you would get away with it for a while

Better boxes will cost from $50-$1000, depending where you buy one. Different bolt pattern on the bellhousing. They are known as the 'supra box' to places like Dellow and CRS. 10 second quarters on a W50 = much munching of bits.

Parts for these boxes are fine. Fitting it should be about as easy as any box can be to fit.
