if however the top ring gap is 1.5mm, then the C1741.STD ring kit is required (same as a bigport piston).

    have fun with the rebuild.

Dont you mean ring thickness of 1.5mm????

You need Mr Revhead from New Zealand, he can supply the correct Toyota HG.

As for all the other parts:
    • Bearings - ACL Race
    • Rings - ACL (proseal = iron rings i thought? C = chrome)
    • Gaskets - TOYOTA

i recommend the toyota gaskets, especially for intake manifold, oil pump and rear main seal housing as these are the lovely metal gasket types. Most other gaskets you can make up from gasket paper (as suggested)... but if you are going to the bother of getting a genuine Toyota HG and valve stem seals etc, then why not just get a full gasket kit from toyota?

... again, contact Mr Revhead (search the forums)
    ...... butt scratcher?!

as for bearings i can also do genuine. however ACL race should be ok. i personally dont recomend thier standard bearing range though.

and finaly yeah 20v rings are differnt from 16v rings, i can supply those too if needed.

Valve stem seals for 20V are different to 16V as the valve stem is smaller diameter (20V = 5m stem, 16V = 6mm stem).
