Hey guys, i got a wolf3d computer going on my ke25 4age 16v bigport with turbo and was going to wire it up today but hit a few problems!
1) I got a set of 4agze coils to use with it but i was looking thru the manual and they didn't mention anything about gze coils being compatible with the 4agze. Anyone used these on a wolf or anyother ideas??
2) Question about Ignitor.... Wat type of ignitor? 4agze one or something else???
Anyother help would be great. Also i tried to contact WOlf directly and i couldn't get hold, also i tried to of the dealers in NSW and they said they on do tuning.
I need answers ASAP!!

Are you running CAS or dizzy - i believe you can modify the dizzy wheels by cutting teeth out and it basically runs as a CAS. just run the coils of the cap then and straight to the plugs. Thats what im doing with my microtech anyway, not surfe about Wolf. Hope this helps. But this has been covered before so you might be lucky with a search.
Good luck
My setup is a Wolf 3D V4, two Bosch 008 ignitors (out of a Camira) and the stock 4AGZE coils. It has all worked fine for two and a half years.
I use the CAS and have also had no problems with it. Others have though. Give me a yell if you want a hand with the setup of it.

Generally any coils (stock coil packs or bosch ones or whatever) should be fine and any ignitors as long as they are ordinary "dumb" transistor ones. I have used standard toyota ones from sv21 camrys, widebodys, Gt4's etc without a problem.
The standard GZE ignitors and coils should work. They usually just take a negative pulse from the ecu to fire. If the ecu fires in wasted spark you can just join the inputs of two ignitors together for the appropriate cylinders
Are the camira ignitors easy to get hold of?? I may just do that...
Michael
I imagine pick and payless would have oodles of camira's dudeOriginally Posted by Megz

Do u actually need to wire up ignitors, as the wiring diagram doesn't show anything of an ignitor??
Cheers

Yes, you do need an ignitor mate, unless through some freak of nature your Wolf has one built in. Not knowing how a wolf works, I couldn't tell you though.
As for the camira ones, I have a wiring diagram for them if you want, hell, I even HAVE 2 of them if you want, and I can tell you where the wires go. I can sell/send these ignitors to you if you want, I definately don't need them anymore, but they work rather well.

Listen to the Strad. Wolfs do not have inbuilt igniters. So you need external ones (like the Camiras).
It's as simple as wiring +12V and the ignition output from the ECU to the ignitor and then wiring +12V and the ignitor output to the coil.

Listen to the Hen. :-)
Like I said above, I have said ignitors and said wiring diagrams if you so require something of that nature.
