Default Vacuum valve on top of supercharger, 4agze

Since I'm now converting my 4agze engine to autronic ecu, I have a question for you.
It's about the vacuum valve that sits on top of the supercharger.
Two vacuum lines are connected to the sc, and one to the intake.
Anybody know at what intake pressure this valve is engaged?

I just bypassed it on mine and ran a hose from one fitting to the other, it didn't seem to have any ill effects and made a useful handle to carry the supercharger..

It's just a pressure release valve to equalize the pressure across the bearings.

It's not a big issue to have connected, you'll probably have to measure it yourself to work it out.

If you use the same output that you use to switch on the SC clutch to switch the valve, you should be in the ball park. Just make sure you're switching on closer to atmospheric pressure than idle pressure. Try 6/8" mercury vacuum for both.
Don't worry what people think, they don't do it very often.
