Hey all, so after looking through my garage for something else i cam across somethin i made for pretty much zero dollars that worked a treat
parts used
* Old Bike tube
* 2 end caps from an outdoor plastic patio table ( this will depend on the size of the intercooler pipe you run)
* 2 larger hose clamps
1. measured the inside of the end cap, then cut that diameter around the tube valve
2. Drill a hole in the centre of the endcap as close as possible to the diameter of valve on the tube, obviously will depend if you use presta or shorda valves.
3. ideally glue the valve in ( i didnt it, worked fine for me)
4. Then add one section to the end of the piping, one at the turbo side one at the throttle body
5. i used a compressor and pumped it up to around 30-40psi ( i wouldnt go to high as you could blow the piping apart and damage yourself and you underwear)
6. if you have any leeks you should hear them quiet easily,
its a pretty simply operation
hopefully it can help someone

I have a similar setup.
Mine is perhaps a little less ghetto tho!
An ~3" OD gutter pipe PVC fitting, with a metal type tyre valve stem and also a pressure gauge fitted so you can see the pressure.
Also a mixture of a little detergent and water in a spray bottle can help find leaks. It will bubble where leaks are when sprayed on![]()
Cheers

thats sweet, i was just to lazy to buy anything i like macgyvering it,

what i did was weld a peice of 3mm plate to the end of an old bit of 3' stianless i have, then i have a guage in the top
and the bottom is festo adjustable valve and a fitting to connect to a compressed air line.
then you can bleed in as much air as you like, then disconnect the line and check for leaks. I stick it on the front of my turbo though so i can check the whole intercooler/piping system.
insert ghetto paint drawing.
EDIT: ill get a pic of it and post it up.
