Does anyone know if this is possible. Filling in the holes on a set of kong rewinds and having them re drilled for 5x114.3. and has anyone ever done this? Is it legal?

I would highly doubt it!Originally Posted by bigmat
As the other guys said, just go the Performance Superlite's, or try the Panasport ones as they're lighter (alot more expensive though)
Have you checked with the importer?
spoke to importer. he cant help with the offset im looking for. looks like the performance ones will be the go. they have 16x7 by +35 offset. we shall see. cheers
Or some panasports

with steel rims they can do it, not sure about other rims.
its not a cheap excercise either...
it may not seem like it but i appreciate all the help you guys give!
Punctuation is the difference between 'I helped my Uncle Jack off his horse' and 'I helped my uncle jack off his horse.'
Speedstar RS-8's came in that size and offset (might have been 34 rather than 35).

spoke to the guy from panasport. +34 offset not a problem in 5x114.3 but it takes 12 weeks for them to get here. $450 each 16x7. these are the street legal ones. its an american company that makes them in japan, then ships them to america then australia. thats why theres such a long wait.
As I said above, they're pricey, but they're lighter than the Performance Superlites...
Also, as you said the wait can be painfull...
Waiting isn't that painful really ... at least when they arrive you'll have saved up for some decent rubber :-)
