Hi.. Im looking at upgrading the engine in my RA28 to something more enjoyable.. What kind of engine changeovers have people successfully carried out? Obviously the 18rc to rg is simple since both bolt straight in, what other options are there??
Is the 1JZ conversion a bitch? Thanks! Marty

^^^ agreed. least its in the right area.
there has been al kinds of engine conversions. most popular has been the 1ggte. as stated above there are a fair few.
also afew 3tgte around too, i have also seen 4age (gze and gte) in ta28s in finland. if you can think of it and you have the money it can be done.

1j is best, bit hard, goodluck finding a box that will fit with minor mods and for min $$$

1g is good, handling stays about on par too. relatively easy, cheap, room for improvement later: single turb conversion, aftermarket comp, injectors and its quite the package
