i want to run two inch beltdrives on the front of my 4agze but to do this i have to change my supercharger pulley to a solid type not a viscous type what are the advantges/disadvantages to this?is it possible?
Sure it's possible.
The only real issue is that you won't have a clutch on the SC so it will be running all the time. This will probably mean that you will use a little more fuel.
Unless you are having problems with belt slip or want to run other things off the crank pulley I cant really see much of an advantage to upgrading to 2 inch belts though.

i ran a solid pulley on my sc12 overdriven to 15psi.
advantages: went like stink.
dissadvantages: poor idle quality, intercooler hoses always sucked in on themselves.
the advantage is it sounds kool![]()
There are better sounding things you can do for the money it will cost you.
Spend the $ on your exhaust or inlet.
