Congratulation's, I can't even fathom how hard it must have been to sort it out, I take my hat off to you ..

I'm not comfortable with calling any one dumbass & especially some one like your self, any chance you could change your user name ..

    thanks
I had it all working a year ago on my bench programmer
but no one asked me for doing it to their ecu till this month
so hopefully I might get a chance to do abit more and even test this
    setup on a 3uz

I've sold about 10 bypassed ECUs to foreign customers so far, these were 1UZ, 3UZ 5at and 3UZ 6at. I think I did another 100 units or so for my local customers. That's what my memory dump collection tells. Here's how my work looks like
    1uz https://g-a.d-cd.net/d8126acs-960.jpg
    3uz https://f-a.d-cd.net/e4126acs-960.jpg

Price wise, it's up to customer if he wants to wait another month or get his ECU done instantly, paying 3 times more and then still having to wait to get his wiring sorted. I'm planning to further reduce shipping time b/c one of my customers in Australia agreed to resell ECUs.

yer I tell them if I do loom at same time then price for ecu bypass is cheaper
still not many 1uz vvtis here in Australia
I got work booked out till end of jan but can squeeze small jobs here and there
so I mainly did this a year ago to test out some modules I found
I try to buy some more tools for diagnosing these days
getting a new Toyota diagnostic cable next year its 1000 bucks

ive got 2 more vvti ecus to do in jan once the parts come in

plus ive got 4 of my own spare vvti ecus so I will do them and test them on friends car
and put them up for sale

I hate doing exchange ecus due to the fact I don't know what condition the customers ecus are
so once I test my ecus ill know they r 100% then I can sell them

p/s I never exchange ecu's , too. Either sell a built one, or modify customer's unit. Quite a number of guys prefer to visit me personally and wait for a couple hours.

These are sold with 100hp engines which are only good to pull that shit 100km away from dealership and maybe for extra 5000 miles (if you're lucky) , hehe .
