Gotta get some sort of rego or permit organised for the Crown Coupe, and I will be there. New regs wont let me take the Aurion out to the Nats on Sunday!

Same as last year, club members and their guests assemble with vehicles in the North East car park at Dickson College from 8.30am to 9.30am. You will need a sticker and arm band for entry. These will be available at the Dickson car park. Vehicles will then proceed in convoy to the service station gate where people will guide you into the arena.

Of course you can take the Wagon, just 'cause it is all shiny and new looking, it still falls into the category of bloody awesome! So not a problem Stittty.

Just booked the Crown Coupe in for 1st Aussie rego check! Monday at Dickson.

Better go over it with a fine toothed comb over the weekend and nut and bolt all the bits I have had off. LOL. Plus build a survival kit of spare parts and tools.

    cheers Chuck.

Ta Luke, all the mechanicals are looking good.

Just undid some funky wiring, now all the lights work as intended. Having an indicator on as a reversing light was a bit novel, musta been foggy up there in Hokaido.

Adz is bringing the shop trade plate over in the morning, will run the car up on a hoist and check lotsa things. Being an ex rego inspector he will know what to look for I hope!

    cheers Chuck.

A pretty sedate Summernats today, although I only stayed until midday so the bogans hadn't had time to really fuel up More of the same really and very much a supercharged pushrod fest. The top end cars are impressive in their attention to detail but totally irrelevant to anyone that wants to drive their toy?

Spotted a sweet Crown Magesta and Chucks two door, although no sign of chuck. Shannons had a carbie 18RG 28 and there was an abortion of a V8 28 in one of the private workshop tents.

The most impressive thing I saw was an ACT Gemini Coupe whose SOHC G200 laid down 825hp!! Damned impressive and seemed to do it easy.

Yeah Sunday really is the "Oh well its all over day", that Gemini pulled hard, but it is an all or nothing affair.

The CCG crew was a tad under represented this year. Apart from a Landcruiser pulling a car trailer, the Crown Coupe was the only other Toyota at Dickson College at 9:00
