Doesn't look like we'll have the numbers for the bunkhouse - i've been hanging on to try and get it over the line but we're at 7 for thursday and 5 for friday, maybe one more on either/each if i can stick around. Was actually about to call the Alpine Heritage and tee up rooms there - objections/input?

Not long now! Has snuck up on me - car is going in for wheel bearings tuesday, might bleed brakes - or wait for next time and do pads too... so little car progress this year. Well, about the same as last year i think.

Going to be a good mix of cars just from our side by the looks of things. The VX TT wagon might make an appearance too as i don't think the track car has got the new brake package sorted in time.

Oh and i need to finalise those last spots asap please - there's a couple of people chasing availability so any of you who can commit let me know as i can still fit you in.

EDIT: update, just confirmed two of those spots. And Dneg, money has come through. Oh and what calipers are those pads for?? I can't remember the part number for my front pads, but i need some new ones and am currently running A1RMs(?) - those ones. I'm running superstrut twin pistons, pads suit sw20 turbo and single-piston st185s - that them? If they're what i need, consider them sold.

Whats the cutoff for the bunkhouse? I cant remember what old mate there was quoting, all I know was that its a pain in the arse.

Put 150km on the motor today, ran it out to the limiter, feels good, quicker than the old one, oil pressure is good, no funny noises or leaks. AFR's are great for 3/4 - WOT but pretty shit on cruise so I daresay I'll be running the laptop tuning in some fuel economy on the way down. Will do pads/bleed tomorrow and probably change to HPR30 (25w-60) during the week. Tyres are good, have to pick them up from the ****y tyre shop in an hour.

Yeah it got progressively more arse-paining and my patience started following an inverted path. Target is 10 before he'll get out of bed and open the bunkhouse. Have scraped through on a couple less when doing two nights, but also sometimes not. There's also a (supposedly) matching dollar figure, but that used to wobble around a bit month to month too. His one big hurdle was that it cost X dollars for the cleaner and he never would accept that when we stayed two nights he still only needed to get the cleaner there once.

I'm starting to think the pelican is like Bunnings, you just assume its the cheapest but in reality its not.

Ok, Pelican is booked out, have found a combo of rooms at the Alpine Heritage - have booked for Vito and Roundy couples, then another 6 of us Thursday night. Friday I currently have the 2x couples and 3 more; Dneg please confirm if you are or aren't staying Friday. Costs go up a bit because we have couples and couldn't get the rooms that sleep 4 each night. Point being, i need another $8 per person, per night. Please.

Edit: Schmitt, apparently you're paying for Mark's Thursday night as well?
