Default big brakes and 15inch wheels

I was wondering if anyone is running 294-300mm rotors with any 4 pots under 15inch rims and if so what type of 15 inch rims.

just trying to get an idea of what rims have good calliper clearance

Minimum diametre inside my 15" 3pc Simmons is 360mm, so it all depends on what Caliper you can squeeze in the remaining 30mm if you use a 300mm rotor.

Another factor is the wheel hub and spoke clearance...

I run 254 rotors (10") and AP Racing 4 spots in my car leaving plenty of room and heaps of stopping power.

I will look at smaller sized disc with good calipers if i cant find anything that will fit what i have.

Currently have Ford AU rotors with landcruiser 4 pots or R32 GTR disc and calipers all round. Was going to give these a go before i go looking for a new setup.

MX73 wheels have lots of brake clearance. No idea what discs people have jammed in them though.
I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.
Drift Volvo. Was fun. 2JZ next time.

I run 4 pot brembos with a 300mm disk. There are very, very few 15 inch wheels that will fit. My avatar shows the only 15" wheel I have found that will fit... it is a f8 type watanabe copy made by Black Racing but the clearance was so slim that the balance weights were hitting the caliper. I assume that genuine watanabes will probably fit as well but have not tried myself. Even in 16" the pickings are fairly slim depending on spoke clearance.

setting up my TA22 with R33 GTS-25T brakes all round. Have test fitted my mates Works equips 03 15x8 front, 15x9 (or9.5) rears. from memory the works wheels use the "T" or big clearence centre.. anything less would be smashing the spokes I'd imagine. May be able to grab a pic or three when I'm next in the garage.

This is highly dependant on your application. Different cars have different offsets for the brakes.
The further inboard, the easier it is.
Rally Celicas & Corollas use a special OZ racing rim over machined down (to 30mm) ST205 GT4 rotors & calipers.

Earlier versions of the Impreza WRX 4 spots will fit under some special 15" rims as well.

Apparently, the Wilwood calipers are quite small & have been known to be under smallish wheels on Escorts & Mazdas.

My AW11 is running an MRP brake upgrade kit which includes 286mm rotors and 4 pot calipers which are a copy of brembos. they fit behind my buddyclub P1s with no issue.

    Thanks for the info guys.

I understand that it depends on the setup but a rough guide/idea is better then nothing at all.

I have a 300ish mm rotor (300?304?) cant remember, and Performance friction ZR34 calipers (4 port single piece, ducks nuts sorta thing) and they fit inside my Rays meshies, steel outer, mesh inner.

I wanted to get TE37V for my track tyres, but Rays very vaguely told me they would not fit. I really really wanna test fit someones to see if they will, but I need to actually get it all on the car before I do that...I am pretty sure they will fit, but, I dont wanna outlay the money to find they dont....
