    Lightbulb Chucks welding course Canberra

I will be conducting a mini welding course down here in Kambah at the end of March. A few people have expressed an interest in learning a little about welding, so here is your chance.

The aim of this mini workshop is to give you a basic knowledge of welding, and some skills to get you joining pieces of metal together.

Within an hour, I will have you plasma cutting, Arc welding, MIG welding and maybe even TIG welding.

    When: Saturday 29 March

    Time: About 2:00pm

Where: My overcrowded cluttered backyard in Kambah, if you don't know the address just send me a PM and I will let you know.

    cheers Chuck.

That worked out well for 1 guy, man was already using gasless mig, one bead with the gas mig and he was off to source a gas bottle!

Will schedule another sometime soon for those that are still interested,

    cheers Chuck.

Aw man. I thought heaps of people would go and didn't want to make the trip from Sydney to further clutter up your backyard. I'm keen for the next one! I've got a TIG and a stick, and need help with both

p.s. please don't do it over/through the easter to ANZAC holiday. I'm away.

Assh, if you are coming from Sydney I would have to male up a full lesson plan and all that stuff, so you get as much as possible for your 6 hour journey.

Yeah the next one will be when people are free, one or two people is fine.

Will be welding a patch into a car door in the near future. Someone literally ripped the mirror off a door. I have a replacement section complete with captive nuts.

    cheers Chuck.

I would have tried to get in on this if I were still in ACT.

Ah cheers! No need to go through too much trouble, just general pointers would be brilliant. It's so much easier having someone tell you what you're doing wrong than trying to self-diagnose my welding via the internet.

That's unfortunate about the mirror... that must be so frustrating! Idiot vandals
