as i understand it is the same process as fitting disc brakes to the RN10 and RN20 hilux, have a look how they do that.
from what i understand using a donor 1979-83 hilux and tapping out M8 to M10 is part of the process (everything is the same just the hilux parts bigger/stronger), i have requested more photos and details on other forums as there are a few in the states that have done it.
the "full" stouts share parts with cruisers and recently via the 60 series discovered that the hand brake on the 5 speed is via the rear wheels allowing a gearbox change, while in the process discovered that four wheel discs were possible with non genuine off the shelf parts.
whats all this to do with a lite stout, well recently i noted again a comment about a lite stout with a hiace diff centre fitting the existing stout housing for better ratio, as finding the right axle spline was the issue and hence hiace. well i wonder if an early hiace/hilux hand brake is able to be used as a way around the hand brake on the gear box issue.
with the "full" stout for discs the cruisers front rotors and calipers are used and it is only a mounting bracket needs to be made or brought to mount the calipers on to the bolt holes for the original drum brakes backing plate
