    Default 1ggte diagnostic issues.

Hey all, I bridged the te1 and e1 terminals.

Hooked a light to a positive source and W on the ecu like I read in another thread.

Ignition on, flashed once and that was it.

Any idea if im doing it wrong?

    Cheers,
    Blair.

Does the situation repeat? Is the ECU properly powered (with +12v and gnd coming everywhere they are supposed to be)? Is the power rating of your light ok (less than 2Wt)?

As per one of my references, this may mean code "1" which represents normal state of the engine. To confirm this , disconnect something and see the difference.

Thanks for the reply, nah no repeating, just one flash and that was it.

The globe is out of a vn commodore dash.
As far as I'm aware, everything is ground right.

I will try disconnecting something tomorrow.

I think I may have worked out part of my issues, massive crack in my throttle body.
