From memory they were around 700 landed at my door, both were complete housings not just centres so if you got a centre only obviously you would save a bit more

I bought them both as JZA80 torsens so it was a nice surprise to open one up and find it was a T II centre

Hey Matt, is Brett going to try and make the TT supra diff fit? Crown is more than an inch bigger than what's in it now, should be interesting....

Or is the auto TT diff still the smaller one?

Auto TT diff is a Supra A-series...and the early manual TT was a Supra B-series...

Yep, he is going to fit the surpa diff to a is200 subframe. He says he has done it before and has offered quite a reasonable rough quote so I am going to go for it.

At first I thought I wanted the early TT 6 speed "B" series diff. but after thinking about the ratios i think it will be too tall, and changing ratios is too $$.

The Auto TT diff with factory torsen should be plenty of diff for me!

Default Re: A/G-series diff compatibilty

So the 8" diff then. Why not just track down an IS300 diff and fit a G series LSD of some sort? Will give you the same size diff as the supra and be a straight swap into the subframe? As with Draven's, it seems some of the 300s came with torsens anyway

Default Re: A/G-series diff compatibilty

Id love too, but gotta find one.

Also I hear I need a complete disk to disk subframe as they are different in the is300.

Something about the shafts.

So if I cant find a whole torsen is300 subframe then I may as well adapt a surpa one.
