    Default 15X8 on TA22?

    OK
im looking at buying set of wheels pretty cheap and they are 15X8 and was wondering how well they would fit under the guards, i dont know the ofset but they are 108mm from the back edge of the rim to the hub mount face thats all i know ATM.
i was thinking a 225/50x15 should work ok just wanna get some opinons before i buy them.

I have 16x8 on my RA-23 unsure of the offsett but they clear both front and rear but the fronts sit out by about 1 inch hence the reason for putting flares on.

TA22's actually have narrower guards than RA23's so there's little chance 8" rims will fit on the front. You'll probably get away with it on the back but I think 7" is the practical limit on the front (and even that is a tight squeeze on my RA23).

Well you can destroy your car if you want.

I think 225's are the absolute max with TA22's, but the offset needs to be perfect, but it might have been 215's. But thats on standard hight, you will have issues turning with a decent hight.

Bollox, once again 'i think' rears it's ugly head I had 15x8 performance Superlights on my 22. Fitted no probs with no guard rolling or other body distorting antics.....i can't recall the offset though and you do have to get this spot on so unlikely your 'find' will fit the bill. No harm in checking them out though.

Common denomenator seems to be offset here guys,no one seems to have a clue about what offset their rims were when fitting or not fitting...Im very sure your rims would have to be 0 to neg offset to fit 8's this is based on the fact magicmitch is running 7"s with minor guard rubbing and the fact I have run 7.5 front wheel drive offset rimms that required 10mm spacer to avoid hitting the strut.

To save all this here say just find out the offset of your wheels and then you will actually hear from people who are running the same and can advise on their suitability.

    cheers
