If they are not cklicking definitely wont fire fuel, just checking was not a fules upply problem.

You have power to injectors so not a blown fuse.

This may help to work out wether you need resistor pack, you probably have seen it but anyway.

    Thanks i'll look into it.
I'm running JDM injectors as far as i know however i also have some oz ones here.
They are both grey with a square plug, i'm also running an oz AE82 ecu with this setup.

neb - one of the last ae82's i looked at (late 87 model) IIRC had pink injectors and an injector resistor pack.
i checked the euro EPC for your ECU part number and it an ae82 ECU also.
a test light on the injectors is also a good idea. get a 12v globe and backprobe the injector sockets and crank (using the + - of the globe to each respective injector socket). does the globe flash on / off? if so then the injector driver in the ECU is doing its thing right. check all injectors to make sure this is the case. (FWIW i think its snapon make a push in tool for this)
see how u go man. also as per what mos wrote up above make sure everything else is hooked up - if you're suss on what goes where open up the lid of the ECU the markings for what pin does what are printed on the circuit board.

Ok we checked the injectors and they are 1 ohm and grey with a square plug. The spare set (i have an AE86 set and an AE82 set) and they are the same.
The ECU i'm running came from that same AE82 as far as i know so it seems that i don't need a resistor pack and it should all match up ok.
Hmmm doesn't help me much though

ok the early greys don't need resistor
so do they pulse when you crank?

Looking at the car again today, the injectors don't appear to pulse when the car cranks, all the diagnostics in the 4AG manual check out, the wiring of the ECU taken from club 4AG checks out. Also checked the static timing which is all good and all sorts of other things , everything seems peachy.
    Except that it doesn't go.
Starting to suspect that somthing in the system isn't working propely, anyone got a bigport ECU they can lend me in the Newcastle area?
Or alternatively who wants to buy an AE86 with a bigport 4AGE with brand new paint, rust free body, brand new engine and a very clean interior and rego.
We'll take $5k instead of the $5.5k we were going to ask for it once it was going....

Sure do, the only thing that happens is that the voltage fluctuates somewhat due to the starter drawing current.

Yeah the spark side of things is working just fine.
Got a guy looking at the car today to buy, if he's happy to take it as is it's over but otherwise i'm going to try and source another ECU to try.

Spark is nice and blue and big
I recharge the battery after every time i work on it cos it gets a bit flat after some cranking and whatnot, it's still going strong.
