Toymods WSID Night - 22nd March

It's always been fun when Toymods and co. has headed out to WSID Wicked Wednesdays.... so I think it's about time we went again!

So who would be keen to head out to WSID on Wed, 22nd March??

Yep..... Off Street Drag Racing!!!

Competitor and spectator gates opening at 5pm with racing from 6pm until 10pm.

Wicked Wednesdays are held each and every Wednesday night all year round. (Except Jan 26 – Australia Day).
The cost is $45 to race and $15 to spectate with children under 12 FREE.

• Gates open for competitors from 5pm
• Scrutineering from 5pm until 7.30pm (unless 200 car quota filled before 7.30pm)
• Racing from 6pm until 10pm
• Gates open for spectators at 5pm
• Entry: Spectators $15
• Children under 12 admitted free
• Competitors: $45

Important Items to bring:

• Current Drivers Licence
• Rego paper for the vehicle (if the vehicle is not registered to you,
• authorisation from owner, and rego papers)
• Remember - NO REGO PAPERS NO RACE
• Long sleeved shirt and pants
• Helmet

Remember - you dont have to have a "fast" car to run! Just a street registered car, a few bucks, and the willingness to have fun!

if my wallet aint empty as it quite often is i might make an appearence.
i dont know quite what im expecting from my car however, st162 stock ge...

does it have to be pre-booked kinda thing or can you just rock up?
also, is there going to someone waving a toymods flag or something? this would be first time to drag, first time to try and goto toymods event for me...

Yeah some sorta toymods banner would be nice, maybe even in the carpark. If we want our own lane i think we need a good amount of people and i think we need to call them.. Witzl?

dont have to pre-book, its just turn up and run on the night..... however there are limited spaces so you want to be there at or before 5pm!

Getting our own lane is POSSIBLE, but only with enough people and pre-organising with the WSID co-ordinators.

I wanna come to this one and race this time try and get the record for the fastest under 1.8 FWD FI.....wont be to hard though doesnt seam to be a record set yet

Would i have to sign up to toymods to get the record? might do that as well on the night

Also an optional thing to do, everyone puts $5 into a kitty and the person with the fastest R/T of the night wins it, kinda like what they already do at WSID but just for the toymods group and whoever else wants to join. Just a bit extra fun

A mate and his brother/friends and a few other people did that seamed to make the night a bit more fun...not that it wasnt already.

I'm not sure that the membership stuff will be taken to WSID Chris.. Maybe try and come along to the meeting on the 20th March( the Monday before this event) and join then.

But Yes you Do have to be a member to make your record count
