About the Toymods Forums: The Toymods Forums provides a friendly environment for Toyota owners and enthusiasts in which they can learn how to modify their car and improve their automotive skills. Messages posted on the Toymods Forums are not the responsibility of this forum and we are not responsible for the content or accuracy of any of these messages. All posts are the responsibility of the poster, however we reserve the right to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information and/or materials (in whole or in part) for any or no reason whatsoever. Please read and follow the forum guidelines carefully. Privacy Rules: You may not collect any email addresses from this web site to use to promote other web sites. We will NEVER sell or give away any email personal information, email address or IP address, unless requested by law enforcement General Forum Rules Toymods Forum Rules – These rules apply equally over all threads and sections of the forums. They convey the intent of the Forum usage and acceptable conduct. Going against the conveyed intent is equal to breaking the rules. These rule are here to help you (and others) have an enjoyable experience. Violation of these rules is grounds for Banning, warning and/or a suspension. The Toymods Board reserves the right to modify these rules without notice and as required. • All posts of a commerial nature will be removed without warning or notification. • Anti-Police or Law Enforcement threads will be locked and/or deleted. • No linking or posting of pornographic or objectionable/offensive material. • No personal attacks or flaming of other members. • Do not impersonate other individuals or falsely represent yourself, or abuse forums systems. • Posting under secondary usernames or alias user names other than your main account for any purpose is not acceptable. • No slanderous or libel threads. • No spaming or cross-posting. There is no need to post the same thing in multiple sections of the forum. • Political, Religious, Racist or Sexist comments or threads are not permitted. • Links to online auctions or other sales sites are only permitted in the Classifieds and only if the item in question is owned by the thread poster. • Do not discuss, suggest, engage, or encourage any illegal activity on the forums. This includes breaking of traffic laws. • No signatures with more than 5 lines of text total at a resolution of 1024x768. • No wording that can be construed as advertising goods/services is allowed in signatures. (Forum Sponsors excluded for their own business only.) • Forum wanted ads are permitted in signatures provided there is a link to a correctly placed wanted ad in the Classifieds section. • No swearing in subject lines or signatures - ever. • Restrict all swearing to as little as possible. • No animated gif avatars are allowed. • No pornographic or offensive avatars will be allowed. • No 1337 sp34k, or SMS style abbreviations will be tolerated. • No SHOUTING. Don't use all caps when posting and use paragraphs and punctuation to the best of your ability. • Make your posts in the most appropriate section of the forum, If in doubt, Ask. • Refrain from propagating off-topic discussion - Make any post in a thread relevant to the title of the thread. • Respect the forum administrators and moderators, without their work you would not have a forum to use and enjoy. • Attacking a moderator for doing their Job is not acceptable. Questions about the forums or moderation should be either directed to the board board@toymods.org.au or through the “Forum Troubleshooting and Feedback” section of the forum. Abbreviated Version: • Don’t act like a tool. • Don’t make unapproved commercial sales. • All “For Sale” or “Wanted” posts must be placed in the classifieds only, in accordance with the Classifides posting rules / Rights. • Posts should be constructive and on-topic for that thread. And be a worthwhile contribution to the forum and the Toyota Community. • Treat other users, moderators and administrators with the respect you would like to be treated with. Please keep in mind that what you post on here is available to the entire world wide web via google and other search engines, as well as our own search engine. Write only what you would expect other people would want to read and present your user handle in a professional acceptable manor, Forum users felt to be bringing the forum into disrepute will be banned. If you are the recipient of a personal attack or are offended by any forum content please report the post to the moderators using the “report message to moderator” link in the post. A moderator will then review the post and make a decision on what action if any is to be taken. If you are moderated and you wish to discuss it, PM a moderator or email the board at board@toymods.org.au
Tech & Conversions Rules
In Addition to the general forum Rules these are specific to Tech and Conversions The Tech and Conversions section are the most important forums where a high level of accuracy and maturity are expected. In addition to the General Forum rules, the following Posting Rules apply to this section. • Postings in this section need to be accurate, relevant, informative, and succinct. • Off topic posts are not tolerated. • Before posting a new thread, please use the Search function to look for any existing threads within the Forum Database that may already answer your question. • If a point of technical interest is raised within a thread that does not relate to the original topic, please start a new topic. • Where possible, please limit 'me too' posts • When posting, provide as much relevant detail to the problem as possible to assist others in finding a solution. • When answering a thread, if the experience/solution isn’t of your own devising, please take the time to link to other threads, or references for confirmation.
