wtf wait to send more than 1 pm

so when i want to buy crap i do a search then pm everyone that has whatever crap i want to ask if aforementioned crap is still for sale but i can type really fast so it only takes like 5 seconds to write the pm then i click to send and i get some message

"This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between sending private messages. Please try again in 41 seconds."

WHY NOT??

i know it might stop the noobs spamming everyone but for leet internet users such as myself who can be trusted not to spam people can this block be turned off please?

It takes all of about ten seconds to write a message with a few questions regarding an item for sale.
And, when you open a heap of items up, hit the "pm" button, and have it open in a new tab, you close the current one, and move onto the next item that's for sale, suddenly you have 10 windows for PMing, and then it takes 15 minutes to do all the PMing, that could be done in 2 or 3 minutes.

One of the reasons the software has this in place is to try to stop multiposting if there is an issue with the connection. if the user stabs the send button 20 times it stops sending 20 messages before the window has refreshed.

Becase it is a forum setting not a user setting. It's either on for the whole forum or off for the whole forum. The setting is actually for all submissions I believe inclding posts not specifically for PM's.

The main reason it is there is to stop bots from spamming.

hey man, if you were that L33T, you could just write a script or something, so you could write and submit as many PM's as you want, and your script/linux box/whatever, would delay them to be 60.1 seconds apart
