minor weirdness with forum message/inbox

maybe forum admin's might want to know.

I cleaned out my inbox on the forums and had a strange message appear at the bottom of the inbox.

It had no title and was dated as 1/1/70 (the start date 32-bit unix dates) for the sent date.

fwiw, I was able to delete it.

The meltdown just about every night lately where the forums just hang is also rather "weird"

*EDIT* not to mention the email subscriptions which have not been working for a large number of members for other 12 months....

i have a minor weirdness in this area too. in my 'welcome' box thingy at the top right of screen it says i have 1 private message unread, but i don't have any unread messages......that i know of . on the thread subscription thing, i have been receiving multiple emails for when a thread has only been updated with a single post.

that's the same thing that happened to me - 1 private message but nothing listing with a subject.

If you look carefully at the listing, there is no subject but it has a date sent and a checkbox at the right side that you can use to delete it.

yeh i too have been receiving multiple emails for 1 post.. i will be going through my msgs and deleating aswell, hopefully it will help somehow. if it does i would suggest that most users should clear the "less important" pm's
