Have a look at that link regards the wiring.

As for the sensor itself as has been said a Series2 ST162 or AE112 one will fit.
Tried the Celica one last night and all is good for fitment. trade price is around the $200 mark at Toyota.

Hi
Anyone know of any O2 sensors that will interchange with a 20V one.

Rang Toyota today for a price and avalibility and was told yhey are $200+ and at least 3 weeks to get from Japan.
I asked if any of the local 7A/4A ones are the same and all he could tell me was they use the same flange gasket so will bolt in but not how many wires etc.

Thye one I need is a 4 wire jobby and the bosch replacement one the local parts guy sold me is wrong.

Any help appreciated thanks

any toyota 3/4 wire O2 sensor will do (2 wires same colour are the heater, and once you work out which of the remaining wires is the sensor output, the last (sensor earth) goes to earth on the engine block/head.

or if you want to widen the range of available sensor, get a 19MM bung welded to the exhaust and you can then use bosch sensors from all kinds of wrecks

AE102 7As have a 2-wire unheated sensor, AE112 7As have a 4-wire heated sensor (because they have factory extractors so the sensor is further down the engine pipe

I'll have a look in my EPC when I get home and should be able to figure out what will work

What was wrong with the bosch one, wrong flange or what?

The bosch one had the wrong flange as it was the screw in type.

The bosch one had the wrong flange as it was the screw in type.
you can buy flange adapters off ebay to make this type fit.. they're basically the flange with a bung in the middle for you to screw the sensor into

EPC didn't bring up much, the flange is a common toyota thing, but the part numbers for the sensors seem to differ from model to model and the diagrams don't give enough detail to determine whether they are 1,2,3,4 wire

series 2 st162 SX had 4 wire sensors, I'd hazard a guess they'd do the job... I probably have an old one lying around if you want to borrow it to size it up etc?

you can buy flanges from exhaust shops also.. cheap :P

replacement sensors may just be a generic sensor with the appropriate flange anyway

or.. make one.. M18x1.5

Hello guys im also looking to replace my o2 sensor on my 20v. How'd things go? I was thinking about buying a universal 4 wire and flange off ebay. Do you guys think this would do the job?

I've also been told this about the wires. I may have to cut and solder wires onto my plug.

White - Heater
White - Heater ( don't know why but there is 2 whites)
Grey - Ground'
