220rwkw with a factory ecu = not a chance.

if you add an exede or similar piggyback (probly link over there) then yes it would be possible but your factory injectors will need to be upgraded and if your running a piggyback you may as well run a 1uz afm.

a GT3071 would get you there or even a GT2871 with a .86rear housing if you so choose.

budget in mind?

PS that thing is cool

budget is around 1k at the moment

i am looking at using a :

Super T70 V Band turbocharger Brand New $500

the specs on it are:

Turbine housing A/R .84
Compressor housing A/R .70
Oil Cooled shaft
Wheels 64.5mm and 60.5mm

or a

TD04E Turbo Brand New $445

Specs:
SPECS:
.57 COMPRESSOR WHEEL TRIM
.50 A/R COMPRESSOR
.63 A/R TURBINE

Whats The Max Boost i Can Run 20psi ? 22psi ? and max boost on stock ecu but aftermarket turbo ?

max power that i could make on stock ecu, stock injectors but aftermarket turbo

i will look into a aftermaket ecu later on but at the moment want to get everything else sorted and making the most power i can with the stock ecu

im running a 5.38:1 Diff, Bring On 12second 1/4 Miles :)

first - that is an awesome idea! love it.

second, on stock management and stock injectors, you are not going to get 220rwkw.

with your new turbo, you'll also need front mount ic, big exhaust, etc, and these mods combined will get you a good hit of power. Is there a special reason why 220rwkw is the number for you?

Thanks Alot:)

220rwkw is Just a Number i Wanted the Magic Number i guess, would settle for 200rwkw on stock ecu though.

front mount inter-cooler, 2.5" full mandrel bent exhaust. etc is all in the books that will be done no mater what.

How do those Mines Ecu Work if i got one of them will that allow me to get 220rwkw + maybe 250rwkw max ?

my next goal is to do a 12sec 1/4 mile the jeep weighs around 950kg with a 5.38:1 diff, 3speed gear box with the final gear of 1:1 :D . if anyone has any ideas on how much power i will need to do a 12sec 1/4 mile please discuss

12 could be possible with 200rwkw but it would need to get a damn good 60' time ie slicks and a big launch.

high 190s can be done on a gen3 ecu but not sure what yours is.

there is no boost cut on a 1g as they run a maf sensor therefore it will only have a airflow cut, how high is it? not sure but rod couldn't run over 195rwkw without hitting his.

i dont recommend the mines ecu as you dont know what the tune in it is like until you purchase it and put it on the dyno to then find it is incorrect.

super t70 is definately big enough to do the job but it will be laggy and wont like the factory ecu much.

my engine and ecu i believe is gen 3,

is a custom single turbo manifold a must or will a y pipe to join up the twin turbo manifold into a single turbo work ? and will that support 200rwkw ?

and do i need a bov ? and i don't want it for the wank factor, as i hear alot of compressor surge when i let of the gas at high revs ?

you could quite easily do the Ypipe,

i made 195 rwkw with standard gen2 ecu/inj/afm with a custom exh mani and a gt30/71r

i have no idea how the AF ratios were as it was only a power run that didnt sow the AF's

but 200rwkw will be pushing everything to its limits.

how much boost ?

12psi, external gate.

yes but most people run around 15psi would that get me to 200rwkw ? and i saw once ( cant find the site agian ) a guy running 20psi with a larger turbo stock ecu and internals and everything and he used a y pipe is well and if i remember correctly he mad something like 260-285rwkw

theres EMP? on here, he has a ke30 corolla with a 1ggte, has made 280rwkw usuing a Y pipe,

theres no way in hell the factory injectors would flow enough, at 100% duty cycle they flowed 380cc's you could possibly get a lil more out of them with a higher rail pressure, (but why risk it?)

you can use 7MGTE 440cc inj, they are a direct replacement for the stockos, (cheap also)

ultimately you are going to need something other than stock to control it.

realistically a SAFE power output would be around the 180rwkw with factory controls

i got a t70 with y pipe 440cc injectors microtech and 24psi
just my budget way

I ran a 13.1 with 170 rwkw. A willys with over 200rwkw would be a death sentence

a 5.38 diff and 3 speed with 1:1 final i think you will run out of rpm by the 1/4 mile....

ps : love the willys - awesome conversion!

agree with grega - new gbox and diff essential.

depending on tyre size.

610mm dia tyre gives 116MPH with a 4.3 in 4th (1-1) at 7800 odd revs

he only has a 3-speed, and the 1g with a big turbo will be too peaky to handle that imho.

of course, I've never daily driven a 2L car :)

with online calulators, my top speed should be around 200km/h @ 8000rpm

have a 3speed is better than a 4speed 1:1 means 1 less gear change so saving time

i can get a overdrive which works like a electronic one in a auto car puts the final down to something like 0.8:1

Thanks for the positive feed back guys,

i know a guy with a stock willys jeep and he said you have got to have bloody big balls to go over 100km/h hahaha,

im going to lower it so get a little bit of staiblity out of it, and maybe space the engine and gearbox up a little as at the moment its sitting way to low

and i can suss a new diff too . 4.88:1 could also maybe find a lsd if i look like crazy
