The first, annual Toyota VS Nissan Dyno competition.

http://www.turbo-a.net/tcc/toyota-vs-nissan-dyno-flyer.gif

At 10AM the first car will roll onto the dyno. The first make will be determined by a coin flip.
A Toyota will run the dyno, then a Nissan, then a Toyota, then a Nissan etc until all cars have run.
If 1 make runs out of car, the other make can continue to run cars till the 5:00 cut off.
The total will be cumulative, with the highest run counting per car. 2 runs will not be counted. Cars will only be 'spun up' once per run.

Entry is $40 for all makes, however there is a $10 discount for ToyotaCarClub.net members. (memberships will be taken on the day)

So, which is better? Toyota or Nissan?

is toyotacarclub running this event?

coz if cruising sa is running it i wont go after what happened last time. getting my car confiscated sucked ass.

hope you make sure the nissang fags dont do burnouts up and down the street again too.

+1 for cool idea for a dyno day! i sure am sick of faggy bogandores ruining things and acting all tuff just coz they get over 200kw with their massive engines that sound like shit.

PlacentaJuan- Yes, TCC is running the day, and hopefully noone from either side of the fence will spoil it for everybody.

ToDa, sorry, but its not an AWD dyno. At least the GTR skylines won't get a run, though ;) Feel free to call by to have a look.

Mr1JZ, are you sure you don't have anything to run? :P

I'll come down for a look. I know that neither of my cars will break 50kw though, so no dyno for me.

hey,

sounds like a good day,

just for your info though - a 2wd dyno wont stop the GTR's. they only have to pull the atessa fuse out and they will only run rear wheel drive. this is quite common and i have seen this done many times on the dyno.

Good luck with the day, and good luck to the toyotas!

Cheers
Stew

On R32 and R34 models only.

R33 needs the drive shaft pulled...

Colleague of mine at work now has an R32 GTR but I don't know if he's running yet. But I believe he has had some work done at Boostworx and he did pull something closeish to 200rwkw so I guess Shaun pulled the fuse

Well, the production release scheduled for this weekend has been moved to the 22nd.

Why should you care I hear you ask? It means that I can run my car at the event :D

Pity it only makes about 100kw :'(

Pfft, only 100kw, mine didn't even pump out 70 last time it was on the rollers!

Hopefully it makes more since the rebuild
