Greg

Awesome to see the 180sx is coming along and not NISSAN powered LOL , dont forget to take me for a spin when its done.

What was the reasoning for the BOV placement ? :P

the aim is to have it together, running, engineered and registered before Feb 22 - that will be exactly 1 yr to the day when i crashed...

what bov replacement r u talking about Damo??

The aim if possible is to place the BOV as close as possible to the throttle Butterfly ?

Yours is the complete opposite

yeah, got it done by the spastics out at fyshwick exhaust... i have no idea what he was thinking???? i didnt have a choice where to go either, as that is where ben took it.. im keen to get a Tial bov in the near future, so i'll move it then... im also annoyed that the water injection was plumbed in Before the cooler, not after.. will have to change that, but will probably just add another injector after the cooler....

I've always wanted to put a supercharged 1uzfe into a 180sx.

But that takes the cake for something nuts! I like!

What do 180's weigh in at by the way?

should weigh in at around 1250kg with this engine, which is about the same as with the SR20DET - my entire front end is fibre glass, so the weight i gained with the engine i think i will have lost by removing the heavy metal panels

looks hot man, i would probably get the answer if i sat down and read all the posts but was if fun? because everything has swapped sides going from SR20DET to a 1JZ no?

very cool conversion! ...although i was abit confused when someone said it was making 300 rwhp with the turbo disconnected??.

not disconnected, just not really flowing.... 7 psi for a 35R is like a small fart....

oh okay, sorry i just saw this...
Bearing in mind that the turbo wasn't even plumbed in... It was running n/a

^^^ hahaha, ok... car should be back at my place on the weekend, all tuned, ready to roll... just have to do some finishing touches to the body kit, give it a wipe over to get all the grease and oily hand prints off it, get a wheel alignment and off i'll go..
