2JZGTE Water Pump Query

Ive just converted the ol hydro pump to a 2j pump and everything has gone sweet but at the bottom of the front housing theres a water inlet/outlet does anyone know if it connects to anything?

The EPC shows a hose off it which i have but no connection to anything

Any ideas?
