FINALLY its OFFICIAL Murray Bridge Autofest has been given the GREEN Light at last nights Council meeting it was voted to give 100% Suport for the new event
Sturt Reserve will be a fantastic venue with plenty of grassed areas, huge kids playground and sealed roadways for both cruising and driving events The Murray Bridge Autofest is going to be the best thing to hit South OZ EVER.So if its Horsepower you crave or for that matter anything to do with Street Machines, Fast 4s, HiTeck ,Rotary ,Blown or Turboed, Restored, Authentic,Street Rods or Kustoms the Murray Bridge Autofest will have something for YOU.Also on display will be Trade Displays from most of the Automotive industry and DB Drag Racing will also feature.The reason this has taken a while to announce is that we have been working on a Multi Year deal with Council and not just a ONE off and now this is in place people will be able to plan their holidays etc around the event.

After SO Much interest in Entrants Wanting TO DISPLAY ONLY and NOT BE ABLE TO COMPETE IN ANY DRIVING EVENT OR EVEN USE THE CRUISE TRACK our Insurers have decided to allow these Entrants into Autofest at a reduced fee.

We have locked in a deal with the Murray Bridge Racing Club to Promote Australia Day Weekend As the Murray Bridge Weekend of Horsepower,It is hoped that the local speedway club will also be part of this as they are running Saturday Night.So Horse`s at the Beach Party Race day Friday,Speedway Saturday and Autofest Friday,Saturday and Sunday where else would you want to be.

Autofest is a driving event show but with also ShowNShine,Dyno ,Go to Whoa,Slalom,burnout comp.All are welcome at Autofest including 4s,6s,rotas,v8s and even street rods and there are NO politics, we have no ties with any organisation,we employ indipendant judges and all involved are petrol heads/car lovers just like you.Autofest is a dry event and families are a focus.

Thats right a Street Parade has been added to the program of events happening over Autofest.This will happen 9.00am with a 9.30 Start From Sturt Reserve Saturday 27th.Brett Stevens will lead the Parade with the Burnout XR8 ute and we will have a Police Escort through the main street of Murray Bridge and returning to the event where the main fun will begin for the Saturday Program.
